My allergies kick into high gear during oak...Oh my. My allergies kick into high gear during oakbloom. You are located a bit south of me which means the bloom season comes earlier than it does here. I have several live oaks and love them except during the month of March. They are magnificent trees with many great attributes. They are a native plant and provide wildlife food and refuge which makes the garden a very interesting place. I can live through one month of discomfort easily enough.
